This trail was designed for the true outdoor
and adventure lover. Trips have to be pre-booked
in advance. Trips start at Khamkirri. Places
to be see on this journey are Riemvasmaak (
SA’s 1st successful relocation of people
after 1994 elections) This land offers the client
the true experience of vastness and the desolateness
of this unforgiving area. Arrie-se-put, which
is a privately owned Game farm with a big diversity
of animals including Camel? Augrabies Falls
National park in its entire splendor. ( The
6th highest waterfall in the world.) Throughout
this journey, all accommodation and meals are
provided. Riders have to be competent in handling
horses, saddling, grooming and different styles
of riding. This is for the true adventurer.

Day 1: Depart from Upington,
driving through rapidly transforming sceneries,
we head towards Molopo Lodge while we drive over
red dunes near the edge of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier
Park.
Day 2: Early morning rise and
departure to Nossob. We stop and take walks in
the Desert in search of the Kalahari's smaller
insects and reptiles, i.e. scorpions, toktokkies,
gechos, etc, while we also pay an unforgettable
visit to the Bushmen!
Day 3: Driving down to Twee Rivieren,
wildlife in an unprecedented display throughout,
is waiting to take your breath away and fill your
memories with unforgettable portraits of this
special journey.
A scenery surprisingly filled with an incredible
variety of life accustomed to the unforgiving
climate of the Desert are waiting to be discovered
by you...
Day 4 : Traveling via Upington
to
Khamkirri Private Game Reserve, visiting various

Desert
to Diamonds Tour
Experience an extraordinary journey though the
Richtersveld, West Coast and Namaqualand as we
take you on an amazing scenery from Desert to
diamonds in the heart of the Northern Cape Province.
Day 1
With your arrival at Khamkirri Private Game Reserve,
an exciting adventure down the Mighty orange River
awaits you as we take you on an unforgettable
river rafting journey to Augrabies Falls National
Park.
Day 2
Departing from Khamkirri, we head towards Macdouglas
Bay, situated in the heart of the mystic West
Coast. On our way we visit the very famous mission
station at Pella as we drive to Springbok where
we will be taking a walking tour through the historical
copper museum
Day 3
We drive towards the magnificent mountain desert
of the Richtersveld in search of the famous Halfmens
(tree), where after we stay over in the well-known
diamond mining town, Alexander Bay.
Day 4
Early morning rise as we take a breathtaking view
of the mighty Orange River meeting the Atlantic
Ocean... Watching out wide-eyed for sparkling
diamonds on our journey along the inexplicable
beautiful west Coast route, as we travel to Houthoop
near Kleinzee.
Day 5
Waking up in the heart of Namaqualand, a spectacular
scenery of flowers awaiting you during winter
times as we take a journey through the west Coast
National Park & the famous Skilpad Nature
Reserve.

We spend another day in the unforgettable Kammies
Mountains before returning during the afternoon
to Khamkirri!

Kalahari Rafting Experience
Strange
but true South Africa’s biggest river the Orange
River flows through
the Kalahari Desert, creating what is known as the
Green Kalahari.
We do a 3-day river-rafting trip in and around the
Augrabies falls area.
This trip consists of 3 days and 2 nights, accommodation
and meals included

So while you experience True River rafting in rapids
not more than grade 3,
at night you sleep in the comfort of a tented chalet
on the banks at Khamkirri.
The next day you are back on the river for more action
packed fun, you will also
be able to see quite an abundance of bird-life en
route.
You can also combine this with other adventures such
as absailing, horse riding, mountain bikes and game
drives.

Morning at leisure. Why not visit a wine farm and cellar.

Coast National Park
Early morning paddle. Enjoy kayaking on the Langebaan
lagoon. This idillic private beach is known and named
after the many flamingo’s that you will find.
Depart for Moorreesburg
after lunch to catch the Intercape luxury sleepliner

Arrive early morning in Kakamas and transfer to Khamkirri.
After breakfast the adventure starts! Your days at Khamkirri
